PAL e-Wallet Terms and Conditions
Creation of PAL e-Wallet
- PAL e-Wallet is a digital wallet that allows you to store and consolidate your multiple Dear PAL e-Cards in a single account and may be used as an alternative payment method for purchasing PAL tickets and/or My PAL Travel Boost except for myPAL Travel Insurance and myPAL Upgrade.
- The following are the currently available kinds of Dear PAL e-Cards:
- PAL e-Gift Card
- Dear PAL Miles e-Card
- Travel Credits
- Compensation Voucher
- Corporate e-Gift Card
- PAL e-Wallet can be created online via https://ewallet.philippineairlines.com/
- When creating your PAL e-Wallet, you must fill out an online form and enter your name as reflected in your passport and other travel document, valid email address, mobile number, and your preferred PAL e-Wallet currency.
- You will receive a confirmation email after the creation of your PAL e-Wallet. The email will contain the following information: PAL e-Wallet account number, registered email address and PAL e-Wallet PIN Code.
- The PAL e-Wallet currency of your choice cannot be amended once selected.
- Only individuals are allowed to create PAL e-Wallet. Families, sole proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations and/or other juridical entities cannot create PAL e- Wallet.
- Duplicate PAL e-Wallet accounts are not allowed.
- Merging of PAL e-Wallet Accounts and transferring of balance to other PAL e-Wallet Accounts are not permitted.
- However, Dear PAL e-Cards in a PAL e-Wallet Account may be used to pay for a Philippine Airlines ticket or select myPAL Travel Boost of a third party other than the PAL e-Wallet Account owner.
- Log-in to your PAL e-Wallet using your email address and generated one-time verification code sent to your registered email address.
Adding Dear PAL e-Cards to PAL e-Wallet
- Your PAL e-Wallet can only be loaded with the following unredeemed Dear PAL e-Cards:
- PAL e-Gift Cards
- Dear PAL Miles e-Cards
- Compensation e-Cards/vouchers
- Corporate e-Gift Cards
- Travel Credits (subject to conditions)
- Your Travel Credits can only be added to your PAL e-Wallet if the Travel Credits holder’s name matches your name on your PAL e-Wallet.
- A partially redeemed Dear PAL e-Card can only be added to your PAL e-Wallet account if the currencies of the e-Card and PAL e-Wallet are the same.
- To add a Dear PAL e-Card, log-in to your PAL e-Wallet via https://ewallet.philippineairlines.com/, click on Add e-Card button and then enter your 16-digit e-Card number and PIN code.
- If the currency of your totally unredeemed Dear PAL e-Card differs from the currency of your PAL e-Wallet, the Dear PAL e-Card amount will be converted to the currency of your PAL e-Wallet. The conversion rate at the time when the Dear PAL e-Card was added based on xe.com shall apply. Exchange rates in xe.com are updated daily at 12:05AM UTC. For example, if your Dear PAL e-Card is in USD but your PAL e-Wallet is in PHP, the Dear PAL e-Card amount will be converted to PHP.
- An email notification will be sent after you have successfully added the Dear PAL e-Card to your PAL e-Wallet.
- Validity of your Dear PAL e-Cards will be retained after adding them to your PAL e-Wallet.
- There is no maintaining balance needed in availing of PAL e-Wallet.
- Once any of your Dear PAL e-Card is added to your PAL e-Wallet, it cannot be removed.
- A Dear PAL e-Card that has not been added to PAL e-Wallet can still be used subject to its Terms and Conditions.
Redemption
- PAL e-Wallet can be used to pay for tickets and select myPAL Travel Boost (previously called Travel Extras) through the following channels:
- PAL e-Wallet may be used to purchase Tickets (including base fare, taxes, and fees) and/or myPAL Travel Boost (except for myPAL Travel Insurance and myPAL Upgrade). Applicable discounts will be available as required by law.
- PAL e-Wallet may be spent in increments until the total amount is fully used within the e-Card’s validity.
- When purchasing Philippine Airlines ticket/s and myPAL Travel Boost, your PAL e-Wallet amount will be converted to the currency of the ticket and myPAL Travel Boost you will purchase. The conversion rate at the time of purchase based on xe.com shall apply. Exchange rates in xe.com are updated daily at 12:05AM UTC. For example, if your PAL e-Wallet currency is in PHP but your ticket and/or myPAL Travel Boost default quoted pricing is in USD, the PAL e-Wallet amount will be converted to USD.
- PAL e-Wallet cannot be used to purchase Dear PAL e-Gift Card(s).
- If the purchase amount is less than or equal to the available balance of your PAL e-Wallet, the full purchase value will be redeemed. However, you still have the option to redeem only a portion of the balance. If the purchase amount exceeds the PAL e-Wallet redeemable balance, the excess may be paid through other acceptable forms of payment.You can use up to a maximum of two (2) forms of payment for a single transaction with a combination of either any of the following:

Your use of more than two (2) forms of payment shall not be accepted by the system, and PAL shall not be liable for any damages and/or consequent inconvenience that may result from a failed transaction due to your use of more than 2 forms of payment. After your transaction, the amount of your PAL e-Wallet will be updated, including any remaining balance, and it will remain valid under the same terms. To check your remaining balance, you may log-in to your PAL e-Wallet account via https://ewallet.philippineairlines.com.
- It is your responsibility to secure your PAL e-Wallet and PIN Code, and you agree that PAL will honor any and all redemptions made through the use of your PAL e-Wallet email ID/Account Number and PIN Code , and that PAL shall not be liable for any unauthorized use of your PAL e-Wallet email ID/Account Number and PIN Code.
- There are no chargeable fees during redemption (e.g., activation fees, additional service fees, or dormancy fees, and the like)
- You may purchase tickets with flight dates beyond the validity period of the Dear PAL e-Cards loaded in your PAL e-Wallet, provided that you redeem the Dear PAL e-Cards within its validity period.
- Dear PAL e-Cards with the earliest expiration date(s) in your PAL e-Wallet will be automatically selected and utilized first by the system during your redemption.
- In case of flight disruptions or cancellations, the refund value will be credited back to your PAL e-Wallet used to purchase the tickets or myPAL Travel Boost (as applicable). If the ticket or select myPAL Travel Boost were paid using multiple payment modes (e.g., PAL e-Wallet and Cash, PAL e-Wallet and Credit Card, or 2 PAL e-Wallet), the refund will be credited back to its original forms of payment respectively (e.g., partial credit back to the PAL e-Wallet and partial cash refund, etc.). Refund is in accordance with the Fare Conditions of the ticket.
- If the ticket or select myPAL Travel Boost were paid using multiple payment modes (e.g., PAL e-Wallet and Cash, PAL e-Wallet and Credit Card, or PAL e-Wallet and Travel Credits), the refund will be credited back to its original forms of payment respectively (e.g., partial credit back to the PAL e-Wallet and partial cash refund, etc.)
Other Terms and Conditions
- Philippine Airlines is not responsible if your PAL e-Wallet is lost, stolen, or used without the PAL e-Wallet holder’s permission. You agree that the possession of or access to the PAL e-Wallet by any person is deemed an authority for said person as bearer of the PAL e-Wallet to use the same. Neither PAL nor PAL’s agent, employee or representative is obligated to request a person presenting this PAL e-Wallet to identify himself/herself.
- Philippine Airlines tickets and myPAL Travel Boost purchased using PAL e-Wallet are subject to applicable Fare Conditions and Conditions of Carriage of Philippine Airlines.
- By providing an email address, the passenger warrants that the email address is correct. PAL shall not be liable in the event the email address provided for the opening of a PAL e-Wallet Account is incorrect.
- The Dear PAL e-Cards contained in the PAL e-Wallet are non-refundable and cannot be returned or converted to cash or credit, except where required by law.
- Except where prohibited by law, Philippine Airlines reserves the right to refuse, deactivate, cancel, reject, or hold for review any PAL e-Wallet mistakenly created in an incorrect base PAL e-Wallet currency or issued or procured, directly or indirectly, in connection with fraudulent actions or in connection with any violation of these terms and conditions.
- PAL reserves the right to modify and otherwise change these Terms and Conditions at any time in its sole discretion. These modifications or changes shall not impact on the PAL e-Wallet that have already been created.
- Any Personal Data which will be gathered under this transaction will be processed in accordance with our Data Privacy Policy which may be viewed at https://www.philippineairlines.com/ph/en/about-us/legal-notices/old-temp-data-privacy-policy.html, the applicable carrier's privacy policy for flights operated by our partners, the Data Privacy Act of the Philippines, and any other relevant data privacy laws, rules, and regulations.
