- What is PAL e-Wallet?
PAL e-Wallet is a digital wallet that allows you to store and consolidate your multiple Dear PAL e-Cards in a single account and may be used as an alternative payment method for purchasing PAL tickets and/or My PAL Travel Boost except for myPAL Travel Insurance and myPAL Upgrade.
2. How can I create a PAL e-Wallet account?
PAL e-Wallet can be created online via https://ewallet.philippineairlines.com/:
- Log-in using your valid email address and enter the one-time verification code to your email.
- Fill out the online form and enter your name as shown in your passport and other travel documents, mobile number and preferred PAL e-Wallet currency.
- An email notification will be sent to your registered email address. The email will contain the following information: PAL e-Wallet Account Number, registered email address and PAL e-Wallet PIN Code.
- How can I log in to my PAL e-Wallet?
Visit https://ewallet.philippineairlines.com/, then enter your registered email address and one-time verification code sent to your email.
- How can I reset my PAL e-Wallet PIN Code?
Log in to your PAL e-Wallet account via https://ewallet.philippineairlines.com/. Go to your My Profile page by clicking on your initials at the upper right portion of the homepage. Then, click on the Reset PIN Code button.
An email notification will be sent to your registered email address with your new PAL e-Wallet PIN Code.
- Can I amend the currency of my PAL e-Wallet?
No, it cannot be amended once you have created your PAL e-Wallet account.
- Does PAL e-Wallet require a maintaining Balance?
No, PAL e-Wallet does not require a maintaining Balance.
- What are the different types of Dear PAL e-Cards that can be added to my PAL e-Wallet?
PAL e-Wallet can be loaded with the following unredeemed Dear PAL e-Cards:
- PAL e-Gift Card
- Dear PAL Miles e-Card
- Compensation e-Card/Voucher
- Corporate e-Gift Card
- Travel Credits (Note: this can only be added to your PAL e-Wallet if the Travel Credit holder’s name matches your name on your PAL e-Wallet account)
- How can I add a Dear PAL e-Card to my PAL e-Wallet?
Log-in to your PAL e-Wallet via https://ewallet.philippineairlines.com/, click on the Add PAL e-Card button then enter your PAL e-Card’s 16-digit e-Card number and PIN Code.
Once you have successfully added the PAL e-Card, an email notification will be sent to your registered email address.
- Can I add a partially redeemed Dear PAL e-Card to my PAL e-Wallet?
Yes, if the currencies of the e-Card and PAL e-Wallet are the same.
- If the currency of an unredeemed Dear PAL e-Card is different from my PAL e- Wallet’s currency, can I still add it to my PAL e-Wallet account?
Yes, the Dear PAL e-Card amount will be converted to the currency of your PAL e-Wallet. The conversion rate is based on xe.com and at the time when the Dear PAL e-Card was added. Exchange rates are updated daily at 12:05AM UTC. For example, if your Dear PAL e-Card is in USD but your PAL e-Wallet is in PHP, the Dear PAL e-Card amount will be converted to PHP.
- Can I remove the added Dear PAL e-Card from my PAL e-Wallet?
No, it cannot be removed once added to your PAL e-Wallet.
- Can I merge PAL e-Wallet accounts or transfer the Balance to other PAL e-Wallet accounts?
Merging of and transferring of Balance to other PAL e-Wallet accounts are not permitted.
- How can I check my PAL e-Wallet Balance?
To check your Balance, simply log in to your PAL e-Wallet account via https://ewallet.philippineairlines.com/
- Can I refund my PAL e-Wallet?
No, except as required by law, the Dear PAL e-Cards contained in the PAL e-Wallet are non-refundable and cannot be returned or converted to cash or credit.
- Do PAL e-Wallet expire?
PAL e-Wallet does not have an expiration date. However, the validity of your Dear PAL e-Cards will be retained after adding them to your PAL e-Wallet.
- How do I redeem my PAL e-Wallet?
You can use your PAL e-Wallet to pay for tickets and select myPAL Travel Boost (formerly Travel Extras) when booking online at www.philippineairlines.com or via PAL Mobile App. Just choose PAL e-Wallet as your payment option, log in with your PAL e-Wallet account number/email address and PIN Code, then select the amount you want to pay.

- Can I combine my PAL e-Wallet with other forms of payment?
Yes, if the purchase amount exceeds the PAL e-Wallet redeemable Balance, the excess may be paid through other acceptable forms of payment.
You can use up to a maximum of two (2) forms of payment for a single transaction with a combination of either any of the following:

- I have a PHP PAL e-Wallet, can I use it to pay for ticket in USD currency?
Yes, your PAL e-Wallet amount will be converted to the currency of the ticket and myPAL Travel Boost you will purchase. The conversion rate at the time of purchase based on xe.com shall apply. Exchange rates in xe.com are updated daily at 12:05AM UTC. For example, if your PAL e-Wallet currency is in PHP but your ticket and/or myPAL Travel Boost default quoted pricing are in USD, the PAL e-Wallet amount will be converted to USD.
- How can I select the expiring Dear PAL e-Cards first during redemption of my PAL e- Wallet?
The system will automatically select and utilize the Dear PAL e-Cards with the earliest expiration date(s) during your PAL e-Wallet redemption.
- Can I use my PAL e-Wallet to purchase tickets or myPAL Travel Boost for other people?
Yes. You may use your PAL e-Wallet to purchase tickets and/or myPAL Travel Boost for others as long as the PAL e-Wallet value is enough for the total value of the tickets.
- While using the Manage Booking facility, can I use the PAL e-Wallet value to pay for fare difference, applicable fees, and/or myPAL Travel Boost?
Only the myPAL Travel Boost may be paid for using the PAL e-Wallet while using the Manage Booking facility. If you want to use your PAL e-Wallet to pay for fare difference and applicable fees, please go through the following channels:
- Can I use my PAL e-Wallet to pay for chargeable service at the airport upon check in?
No. PAL e-Wallet cannot be used to pay for excess baggage or any chargeable service available at the airport.
- If I apply for voluntary ticket cancellation/refund, how will I receive my refund?
The value of the PAL e-Wallet will be credited back into your PAL e-Wallet account, and if other forms of payment were used, the standard refund procedure will follow. Refund service fee and no-show fee may be applicable.
